SINÓPSIS
Set in France at the beginning of World War II, the film recounts the commendable work of Helena Studler, the Daughter of Charity who saved the lives of thousands of French refugees by preventing them from being captured by Nazi forces, among others, illustrious figures such as François Mitterrand and General Giraud.
Helena, a witness to the horror and barbarity, carries out an extraordinary work of charity for captives and prisoners of war, while putting her life and that of those around her at risk to save the lives of other children, the elderly, prisoners, and orphans; all of them victims of the war.
