Victory or Death

SYNOPSIS

1793. The French Revolution. For three years, Charette, a young man retired from the Royal Navy, has been back home. In the countryside, the anger of the peasants is rumbling: they call upon the young retiree to take command of the rebellion. In a few months, the idle sailor becomes a charismatic leader and a cunning strategist, bringing together peasants, deserters, women, the elderly, and children, with whom he forms a formidable army. The fight for freedom has only just begun.
